About Ronald Newman.
Ronald Newman leads Groundswell's work on community solar and other distributed energy solutions, partnering with utilities and cooperatives to ensure low- and moderate-income beneficiaries are well served. He previously served at the White House, State Department, and Treasury Department, where he advanced implementation of the Inflation Reduction Act, and was National Political Director at the ACLU and an investment banker at Goldman Sachs & Co. He serves on the boards of the American Economic Liberties Project and the Fairness Project, and holds a J.D. from Yale Law School.
