About Austin Wade Smith.
Austin Wade Smith is a Brooklyn-based designer, ecologist, and creative technologist and Co-Founder of River Computer. As Executive Director of Regen Foundation, they lead pilots across South America, East Africa, South Asia, and the US that use decentralized technologies of governance, sensing, and ownership to build regenerative economies, including the Ecological Institutions program. They teach at Columbia GSAPP and Cooper Union and hold an M.Arch from MIT and a B.A. in biology from Colorado College.
