Matt Mroczek

Vice President of Finance at Organically Grown Company (”OGC”)

Matt Mroczek is the Vice President of Finance at Organically Grown Company (”OGC”), the nation’s largest independent organic produce distributor. In his role, Matt has been instrumental in advancing innovative financial strategies that support the company’s mission-driven focus like its groundbreaking approach to alternative ownership. Matt led the capital raise to establish OGC one of the first Perpetual Purpose Trust owned companies in the US in 2018 and has advised on the conversion of several other organizations since. He continues to steward OGC financially, ensuring long-term resilience and alignment with their mission to promote organic agriculture.

With an MBA in Finance from Portland State University, Matt has also served as adjunct faculty for The University’s Center for Retail Leadership. Matt’s career in the food industry began as a bagger for Publix Supermarkets, the nation’s largest employee-owned company. Later he moved into corporate finance roles at The Kroger Company and New Seasons Market. He also contributes to the cooperative finance community through his role on the Board of Directors for OnPoint Community Credit Union.
