A seasoned entrepreneur and housing industry innovator, Cliff Johnson is the President of Padsplit where he is focused on driving the company’s mission to expand access to affordable housing and empower individuals to achieve financial independence.

Prior to joining Padsplit earlier this year, Johnson co-founded Vacasa (formerly on NASDAQ: VCSA) in 2009, where as COO, he played a pivotal role in developing a scalable full-service property management model, pricing algorithms, and market launch strategies that propelled the company to become a global leader in vacation rentals. Following his time at Vacasa, he contributed to the success of Rented.com, an Atlanta-based revenue management platform which ultimately sold to Travel Net Solutions, and most recently worked at Realtor.com, where he led efforts to innovate and scale new business lines, achieving approximately 400% revenue growth for the new construction division and launching a multi-family partnership with Zillow.

Cliff graduated from Boston University with a JD and maintains active law licenses in CA and CO, and lives in Vermont with his wife, their 2 kids and a dog. .
